Would I recommend this cable?
Yes. It's exactly what I wanted in a cable. Tough and durable, and also long enough to cover some distance while plugged in.

Pros:
Solid construction
Amperage seems to be as advertised, charges devices just fine

Cons:
It's heavy, the durability comes at a cost, and that cost is the weight.

I have it plugged into my Samsung Fast charger that I got with my Galaxy S6 Edge, and it charges perfectly.
It's got enough amps to fast charge, and with the cable length, I'm free to get into any position I like with my phone being plugged in.

The only negative is that this is a heavy cable. It's well made, you can feel that just by looking at it and picking it up.
It's not a lightweight cable like the one's most people are used to using, so keep that in mind before purchasing.

I'll update this review if any issues arise, but all in all, it's a great cable.

Length of cable is great! Sadly this stopped working this evening and is well out of return eligibility.
Base works fine, but the cable is done for. I have tried other cables and bases and they work fine. Just the cable has failed.

Anker has been fantastic to work with through this. They have contacted me and offered a refund of the defective item as well as sending a replacement and back up cable.
Excellent customer service and am incredibly happy with the product. This case proves that a faulty item is not always a reflection of the company service.

So far, every Anker product I have purchased has been a wonderful experience. The products are great and their customer service is among the best. I bought this cord because of the quality it states it has with the kevlar. I had a 10ft cable from elsewhere and it stopped working maybe 2 months later. I will keep an eye on this one and update if needed. If I don't change my review that means its still working strong!
This seems like a very good quality, 10ft charging cable and best of all it still achieves fast charge on my s6 edge. You can feel the cable is thicker and more durable.

Great Cable (just not what i needed)

I like the cable... it is durable... great length (@ 10') and is pretty sturdy. Unfortunately, it is smaller than the male end of my stock usb cable on my LG G2 (Verizon model). So the male end does not stay in the phone, and it does not charge properly. If the male head were just a tiny bit larger, it would fit most micro usb ports better. It still grabs the connections to allow you to charge, but can easily fall out of devices. I did find one use for it, so I will be keeping it. But giving 4 stars bc it could be improved by fitting the advertised ports better. I understand that the many different phones can make it difficult to anticipate correct fittings, but it is advertised as fitting. I thought this meant they have tried it in that phone... but didn't think about the many versions of G2's are out there.

Overall, the cable quality itself is very good. That is why I do not want to be too critical in this feedback. I absolutely love the cable itself, it simply does not fit my phone correctly. Worked for a camera though.

If I get it to work on my phone, it says it is slow charging most times. Some days it will sit correctly and charge normally, but due to the jiggling, it cannot make full contact with the Verizon LG G2 on most attempts.

I didn't believe this saying until opening and using this product. The S7 OEM cable was working just fine for my wife until bend fatigue set in near the micro port. That's is when my life became a nightmare!

Normally my wife charges her phone on her side of the bed and mine on my side, since we use them both for alarms it makes the most sense. But once that fatigue degraded the quick charge feature I was condtantly stuck in a twilight zone. Fight after fight about whose phone needed the be completely charged by morning, and which could survive with 50% charge until their morning commute.
Do you know what it is like to have to rely on soley charging your phone during your commute? Unbearable, especially since my commute is mere minutes from home. Having to leave my phone in my work truck charging while I purchase material at the wholesaler, constantly missing phone calls and jobs due to this. The sneaky reaching over after my wife fell asleep to switch phones so I could get a proper charge for the day ahead, so many nights spent worrying if she would wake up and throw my phone to the trash.

I decided to purchase the 10' cord as she like to read in bed, best purchase of my life. This cable will make you sleep like a baby, and dare I say as in my case, turn your wife into a minx in the sheets.
Definitely recommend this item to anyone in a relationship, saved me from a prison sentence as I was close to suffocated my wife by the second night.

(Update over a year) Actually I've owned these cables over a few years and I've never had one issue with any and I use them a lot. Never had one come apart like some people say. I like the durability and the rubber bends well. I'm always buying more from Anker.

I own quite a few of Anker Powerline cables now from 1ft to 10ft. They all are still working without issue and offer fast charge when using a fast charge power adapter.

Anker produces top notch products. The USB cable is no exception. I like that it really holds into the phone. Make sure you pull by cord when disconnecting, since it is such a snug fit. Solid quality, charges quicker than the cheap after market cables that is for sure.

Because it wasn't a 3 dollar cable I expected it to last more than 6 months. Anker said their cables come with an 18 month warranty so I called the Anker not knowing what to expect. They asked for the Serial Number on the cord and verified it was authentic and genuine and replaced the cord with no hesitation. Great product, great service. There is very few negative things I can ever say about any Anker product and this one is no different. I, personally, always prefer longer cords as its so convenient to lie on bed while my phone is charging from an outlet across my bedroom.

This works well with any fast charging adapter. The quality is also amazing and always fits really snug in any android device. Also, this is my 5th one I'm buying this year because my cat will chew through anything. And this isn't exactly cheap cord either, so it says a lot that I always buy a replacement as opposed to a cheaper brand. I will always be a die hard fan of Anker products.
