This is very impressive. I dried and strengthen my hair with a beautiful shine to match. The product is bulky and heavier than your normal flat iron but lighter than a blow dryer. I used this on my wig and baby this add shine and straighten it flat then ever. I’m impressed it can get loud like a blow dryer but I didn’t mind. Small sections for best result. It heat fast and completed my hair in 15 minutes vs the 25 it normally takes me

I have many years of experience using high end salon products. This is my first time trying a hair tool like this. It is ultimately a flat iron and blow dryer combo tool. I tried this iron on extensions and my natural hair, and was pleased with the results from each use. I used this iron on slightly damn hair, and dry hair as well. You are able to turn the dryer on and off. The sound of the blow dry feature isn’t very loud at all either. The iron plates heat up very quickly, so you are able to start straightening your hair just seconds after turning it on. This GHD iron added a lot of shine to my hair, left it soft, smooth, and very beautiful. I would not recommend using this on wet/damp hair on a daily basis or you will experience damage. It could be great to use if you are in a rush to dry and style your hair as well. No matter what he sure to use a heat protectant with any heat tool.

I have heard about straighteners that will work from wet and all they have ever really done is burn my hair but this thing is magical! No messing around, no long waiting times for it to heat up, it just works, and works well. My hair is a little bit whisky at the ends which usually either burns or curls after I use something like this but after probably 10 uses I haven't seen any signs of that happening at all. The design is nice too as I am typically a little bit klutzy sometimes and end up burning myself but it's nice and easy to hold and is fairly lightweight so it's easy to use. I could keep going on about this but just try it for yourself, you won't be disappointed. 👍

I am in awe. This is definitely a top 10 favorite hair care product. I’d even say it ranks in the top 3. This is literally amazing from wet to styled and shined!

It’s unbelievable. I never enjoyed using a product so much. Drying my hair and styling was never so easy and effortless.
The best way to begin the process is to section your hair. My hair is long and thick and this took about 30 minutes from start to finish. I absolutely think that’s a reasonable amount of time realizing it takes about that length of time to blow dry it.

It’s priced right given the amount of products literally all wrapped up in one! I’m so pleased and excited for my new go to product.

I love the concept of this. Flat iron + blow dryer. Perfect for someone like me with thick, wavy, keratin treated hair. And with 6-7 passes I do get straight hair. But I have A LOT of hair and with you having to do small sections, slowly, to get beautiful straight results, it would just take hours. I returned this and opted for a Shark Flex Style which has me completely dry in 25 minutes. (Even I was shocked by this.) Back to the GHD Duet Style, for those of us ladies with fine to medium hair, I think it will be a lifesaver. And I do like the results, it just takes way too long for me to dry my hair. It is well made and works great. So for the right hair type, you will love it.

One more thing, I do wish you could change the heat settings and speed. I saw you can do this on the Dyson Air straight and maybe it makes the difference.

This is a really nice tool to add to your hair essentials. It really makes two steps into one. The swivel is flawless on the cord which makes it easy to move around and get all the pieces. The only thing that made me shocked was that there’s no temperature control. It’s one setting temperature. Which maybe they got it down to a science.
Either way this tool is really nice, feels of quality and gives quality results!

This is a new and never seen item that could save a lot of people some time. I like the fact that you can use it on wet hair and it do not harm it at all. I think this is a great investment to individuals and salons around the world. This duet hair style wet hair iron can do what you already do but in less time and effort. I am very happy to have come across this 2 in 1 wet hair straightener. This can be used on any one with any hair texture.

I have 4c hair and unfortunately I need to do a few more trial and error styles before I can leave an honest review on this hair type and pictures.

As far as the item itself, it's heavy. I don't say that loosely. When you have thick hair it's already going to take hours to get through wash day but imagine trying to hold this bulky item above your head. It's hard. The buttons are in terrible positions that will cause you to press them mistakenly and overall it's just a lot more work compared to doing everything separately.

As I said I'm going to give it a few more tries to show my fellow naturalistas if it's good for us but right now I'm leading towards no.

These are fab. I’ve used GHD for years, these make my hair a lot softer than standard dryer and straighteners combination. I have a short bob, so have to make a bit more of an effort to ensure the roots are dry before I use the straighteners. A little more work than just hair drying. However, we used them on my daughter’s long, very curly hair and the result were salon quality sleek hair. Very impressive.

I bought this with a degree of scepticism for my very thick, long frizz-prone hair. I have GHD gold straighteners which do not fully straighten my hair no matter how smoothly I dry it, so I was curious to see what the Duet could do. The first time I used it, my hair was quite damp, and while it looked great once I had dried it and finished it with the Shine Shot, an hour later it was starting to frizz. The next time I used it on almost-dry hair, and was honestly delighted! My hair was sleek, smooth and shiny without the Shine Shot. I still have to use my normal straighteners (not the GHD Gold which don’t get hot enough to tame my locks) between washes but the overall result is pretty much salon worthy.
