Dual Blade Impeller |
Minimizing vibration&Noise by Implementing BiomimeticsThe housing leg structure of 4 x 2 absorbs the noise and vibration generated by the rotation of the impeller, providing a stable and quiet user environment. |
Addressable RGB Sync (3-Pin)RGB LEDs utilizing the straightness characteristic of LEDs are placed in the housing to realize a distinctive LED pattern. |
FDB (Fluid Dynamic Bearing) FanFDB, which is higher than sleeve bearing, is a thin oil layer that minimizes friction caused by the rotation of the shaft to minimize noise and heat, providing quietness and 100,000 hours lifespan. |

Oh and another thing I need to mention.... while reading another post I saw that one person mentioned their GPU was keeping cool as well as the cpu. I was thinking he was mistaken. No no no folks. He was right! So my GPU used to hover around 50 and when I would run the games I play the fan would spin up to 100% and the temp would get right up to 70 to 75 and again, sometimes shut down.. . So on to the good news...
My system is now running cooler and quieter than ever before. Better than new for sure.
CPU IDLES AT 37 TO 38. (I can't get it to go over 48 degrees even when trying to push it.)
GPU IDLES AT 39 TO 41. (I can't get it over 60. Please keep in mind I did put my old CPU fan on my graphics card and changed the position of the card to more in the center of the case. Factors which I'm sure are playing a huge difference.) However, the entire system is running cooler, all the way down to the MB, HDDs, and Core. All temps are actually cold by comparison now. My room is even cooler. It is winter but normally I would be able to heat my room almost with the amount of heat I was producing. Now I got the heat vent opened back up in here because my PC isn't heating up so much, AND ITS QUIET!
So, installation was a bit complex. But not difficult. Anybody mechanically minded person would be able to install this just fine. I DO STRONGLY RECOMMEND FOLLOWING THE DIRECTIONS. I went off thinking I knew how the thing actually attached and began working and soon realized it wasn't gonna work the old way.
1 difference... once I understood how the fans attached, I saved the fan installation for the very end while routing wires and whatnot. Makes it easier to account for the memory height or other clearance issues. And don't worry too much if some of the fan is hanging off. It cools plenty. Heck, I even tried it as a passive cooler and at idle it was fine. So, ya... VERY GOOD COOLING SYSTEM. EXCEPTIONAL COOLING, LOOKS, AND QUALITY. WELL WORTH THE MONEY...(especially since others are well over $100, and this one arrived quick)
Thanks all.
Here I am again though 6 months later my board died and had to take off the fans to remove the cooler and broke the Nubs again.
Cons- huge, awful mounting,
Have a h510 case and it's too big for me to put the glass back on because the fan interferes with my ram. Also wouldn't recommend first time builders to get it. The mounting is much more complicated than it needs to be. If your spending this much then just go a little farther and get a AIO
Now that I started on the negatives though, I am not thrilled with the mounting method or bracket provided. Does it work, yes, it does work but not nearly as well as the AM4 backplate could provide. Setting up the new bracket is more complicated than it needs to be, even though it does work. The bracket is made from stamped steel, but is a much thinner gauge than what AMD uses. I worry about flex in the board as this is heavy, however I may be worrying over nothing as there was some flex in the board after install, but no more than when I tested a similar weight cooler from Montech, (the Air Cooler 210,) which caused flex from the mounting pressure and that used the AM4 bracket.
I want it known, that mounting and the bracket were my only real issues. The fan was not optimized for pressure but works well for this as the fins are designed for low pressure fans much like this. Reminds me of what Scythe does with their coolers and fans. This is a good design overall, so I am giving it a 4 stars, and best of all it performs really really well once installed. I am positive that you can cool a Ryzen 5 3600 with this cooler tower passively as I couldn't get it over 50c and the fans never ramped up. This would be a tower that works well with Ryzen 7 or I7 or higher builds. Honestly, this does as well as my 360mm AIO from cooler master.
Another thing I liked, was how easy it was to clip the fans on for this. I wish this method was used more often. The second fan is hidden from view though so the RGB seen is limited in its' scope.
Pros:
-Great cooling.
-Amazing looking fans with great RGB.
-Well paired fin design to fan design.
-Almost passive performance characteristics for Ryzen 3600.
-Could easily cool more power hungry processors with ease.
-Easy to install fans.
Negatives:
-Overly complex install. (Hopefully you don't have to reinstall it.)
-Thin mounting bracket when compared to AMD's.
-Less than stellar pressure profile on fans. (Not a big issue here though because of the fins.)
