When first reading about the product on the manufactures info page, i didn't know what a rotomolded cooler was or what the real difference between these kind of coolers and others on the market. Well... after doing research of my own before sealing the deal, there is a big difference when it comes to rotomolded coolers and apparently all the top manufactures use this kind of technology.
Where I live it has been warm/hot between the 80s and 90s with plenty of sun and so far this cooler has held up to its claim, giving me more than 5 days of ice without having to worry. There is so much about why these kind of coolers and so good and doing things like pre-cooling/chilling (as recommended with these type of coolers), really does extend the life of ice to melt slower.
I am very happy with this cooler and can't wait to use it on my next outing. I will never go back to using the normal cheap-o coolers from wally-world, rotomolded is the way to go!
reviews as it has been dramatically changed. The walls are only about 1.5" thick.

This purchase is intended for the extra cold storage. Not to be confused with my plastic Coleman that everyone gets in/ out of all day long (drinks etc), that thing doesn't stand a charge keeping ice more than a day.
Addendum, 3 years later: still my go to for items than need to stay frozen or cold for days. It's heavy and less storage space due to the thick walls. So glad I bought it.

I tried this out on a 4 day camping trip. Loaded with two bags of £1 ice from the supermarket when we set off (ice left in the bags), 2 litres of milk and a tub of double-cream. The dairy stayed fresh despite the cool box being left in a hot tent, often in the sun for hours. At the end of the trip about 50% of the ice remained. Had we been staying longer all I would need to do is add another £1 bag of ice. Would recommend as long as you don't need lots of storage space - the 2 ice bags occupied about half the capacity.
To test it out, I half-filled with ice. I left the ice overnight to cool the box, then discarded this ice and filled again with fresh half load of ice. This ice stayed frozen for 3 days, and the water was still quite cold on day 4.
As the instructions say, this is a temperature "holding" device - if you start cold, it stays cold. The recommendation was to put it in a freezer but I can't imagine many people having one big enough.
I saw some reviews commenting on loose locking clasps but mine seem very sturdy. They are thick rubber but maybe they can stretch with use.
After a couple of months of use, my two nit picks would be:
1) I'd like it to have slightly more storage space inside - it fills up very quick.
2) The handle is TOO solid when it is locked upright. Sometimes you have to really whack it when it is upright to knock it back into the side position.
