AMAZING VALUE!
As an avid outdoorsman I find myself on plenty of road trips to and from the mountains, spend hours if not days hiking (either day or weekend 2-3 day hikes) to destinations or scouting for hunting. I find often that my cheap igloo cooler (specially during summer) doesn't cut it for retaining ice and keeping drinks cold being locked in a truck for 2-3 days upon the return during summer months. I know rotomolded coolers and have a 45QT that has proven to be worth is weight in gold but finding the perfect "road trip" cooler to sit on the hump in the middle of the floor of the backseat of my truck was proving to be tuff. My criteria: I wanted a rotomolded cooler for it's ice retention properties but anyone who knows anything about rotomolded coolers knows that they can be difficult to open for several reasons. 1) change in altitude can really put a vacuum on the lid because of the commercial freezer stile gaskets used (air tight). 2) Typical rotomolded coolers have sturdy rubber lid locks and can be difficult too open if you are not directly in front of them with proper leverage. Many of the larger rotomolded coolers have water drain plugs and vacuum release buttons but I was finding it very difficult to find a smaller 20qt with these options. I also wanted a "lever style" lid lock so I could reach back between the front seats of the truck and just pop it open while on a road trip. A few options do exist on the market but the sacrifice for these features is the price ($100-250). Along comes this little amazing cooler! No it's not the name brand, high priced competition but fortunately the competition in rotomolded coolers these days has really stepped up its game. Prices have come down and quality is very high. Tit for tat comparison most people can live without the high end name as long as the cooler is "comparable" in ice retention and quality. Ok, so a Yeti holds ice for 7-10 days....One of the cheaper "nock offs" if you will holds ice for 5-7 and some 10 days OR a cheap/standard igloo, Coleman and the like that won't hold ice 24-48hrs before its done? Take your pick. Given the price of this little cooler I can't see purchasing a standard cooler. No a chance! Everything on this little cooler fits the bill (drain plug, rotomolded, thick walled, heavy, lid latching system and vacuum release button). Most of all PRICE! What I didn't like......The lid locks although they are a hinge system they are very robust and "tight" like all other rotomolded coolers (good and bad). Placing your finger in the hole and pulling was a bit uncomfortable (doable but uncomfortable). I could see this being and issue if a passenger was reaching back in-between front seats without proper leverage to really get a solid handle on the latches so I easily fixed this issue with some paracord leverage loops. Now it's pretty easy to open the handles by just pulling on the loops to leverage the hinge style locks. My 45qt Cascade Mountain Tech Cooler in the photo (an amazing value and super competitive with coolers like Yeti and others) looks very similar in build quality as this little Landworks cooler and I would not be surprise if they were made in the same overseas factory. This is an amazing value in a rotomolded cooler! I would have given it a 5 star if it were not for the latch lever difficulty. For this price you can't go wrong if you are looking for a solid 20qt. rotomolded cooler. PURCHASE THIS LITTLE GUY!

3.0 out of 5 stars Not a bad cooler, but they have been making 'improvements '
Reviewed in the United States on July 19, 2023
This isn't a bad cooler, but it doesn't have the features it used to have. It doesn't feel as full of foam as my old rotomold cooler. It doesn't have the stainless steel lock plate/ bottle opener it still claims to have. It no longer has a ruler on the top, the slot if you want a divider, the lever action clasps some people preferred, the vacuum release button, the stronger looking/better padded black handle you see in some reviews. So be careful with the
reviews as it has been dramatically changed. The walls are only about 1.5" thick.

Love this little cooler! Built equally as good as my larger Yetti at 1/3 the price. Made a custom vinyl decal for the front and removed the Landworks badge. To me that's an added benefit as I like to customize things.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very Solid, Works Well
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on January 20, 2022
My first impression was that the cooler was bigger than I expected. The handle is very solid and the space inside is "not massive" - the walls are quite thick so the outer size does not translate to storage. Generally quite impressed.
To test it out, I half-filled with ice. I left the ice overnight to cool the box, then discarded this ice and filled again with fresh half load of ice. This ice stayed frozen for 3 days, and the water was still quite cold on day 4.
As the instructions say, this is a temperature "holding" device - if you start cold, it stays cold. The recommendation was to put it in a freezer but I can't imagine many people having one big enough.
I saw some reviews commenting on loose locking clasps but mine seem very sturdy. They are thick rubber but maybe they can stretch with use.
After a couple of months of use, my two nit picks would be:
1) I'd like it to have slightly more storage space inside - it fills up very quick.
2) The handle is TOO solid when it is locked upright. Sometimes you have to really whack it when it is upright to knock it back into the side position.
