Outshine The CompetitionASUS Aura Sync is the illumination ecosystem that lets you synchronize lighting effects across your gaming rig, components, and peripherals. The ROG Thor 850W Platinum has addressable Aura RGB LEDs built in and ready for you to create your custom look. |
OLED Power SupplyThe ROG Thor 850W Platinum features an integrated OLED panel, offering a real-time display of power draw. Now you can see at a glance how much juice your rig is using. |
Wing-blade FanWe've equipped the ROG Thor 850W Platinum with a 135mm patented Wing-Blade fan to maximize component lifespan. Dust-resistance keeps it spinning freely and 0db technology utilizes thermal sensors to allow the fan to switch off completely at lower wattages - enabling totally silent operation. |

ROG HeatsinkThe integrated ROG heatsinks have 2x more volume than traditional designs, resulting in 20% lower temperatures inside the ROG Thor 850W Platinum. This enables cooler operation, extending the lifespan of components and allowing 0dB operation long after standard designs would have to spin up their fans. |
Optimized EfficiencyThe ROG Thor 850W Platinum utilizes top-end Japanese capacitors to ensure efficient operation. This guarantees 89% efficiency at 100% load and 92% at 50% load. The increased efficiency produces less heat, reducing fan noise and increasing reliability. |
Sleeved CablesWe know you'll want to get building right away, so we've included high-quality sleeved and standard cables. The sleeved cables include one 24-pin, two 6+2-pin PCI-e cables and two 8-pin CPU cables. We've also included an RGB connector that plugs into the addressable RGB header on your ASUS motherboard. |

No errors, no pesky Windows WHEA glitches. The LiveDash OLED panel, a true MVP, keeps me informed with real-time active wattage display. The RGB? It shines brilliantly on the sharp and sleek panel. And most importantly, it just works. It handles the heavy power requirements of my AMD 7900x Processor and AMD6900XT AIO GPU.
In the realm of power supplies, the ASUS Rog Thor 1200 shines as a reliable powerhouse that's got your back, no questions asked.
The PSU........
-Feels very premium (Box is well secured)
-comes with custom sleeve cables
-Come with connectors and zip pins so you can organised your cables
-Cool looking sticker (if that even matters to you hahaha)
-Helpful OLED panel that shows how much wattage's you are using. Been seeing many people concerned on how
many watts they are using or need for the RTX 3000 cards yet I can simply look at my PC to see my numbers haha.
-Awesome design and love the RGB. Unfortunately I can't customize the colors directly for some odd reason yet since I have other ASUS parts that are compatible with custom RGB (MB, CPU cooler, etc) I was able to change the PSU RGB colors when I changed my motherboards RGB colors. So I guess that's how it works.
Kinda interesting that with a 3950x and 2080s (no overclocking), on 1440p ultrawide max settings gaming, I was using around 300 watts in total. Kinda gave me 2nd thoughts if this was an overkill but at the same time, it's nice to future proof your PSU and not being able to worry about upgrading in the future especially when it comes to PSU shortages. Overall great PSU, may be a bit expensive, but I feel this PSU is meant for custom PC builds.

And I'm exactly 1 month outside of the measly two year warranty. Other PSU's from competitors such as Corsair, Seasonic and EVGA etc. can be have for half the price with double the warranty period (in fact it's basically as Seasonic PSU with a display).
Don't buy this for the RGB and the power consumption readout because that will fail with time.

Lo unico malo es que los peines en el cable de 24P no embonan bien, esto derivado de los cables de alimentación, hay polos donde ponen 2 cables entrando a 1 polo y dificulta peinar.
